Back on the water with Bill and Kathy today. Was a fun day and we caught a lot of fish. We caught around 90 crappie with 39 keepers. Three were around 2lbs. We caught them all straight lining with minnows on the river channel.

Fishing Report: Was fishing with a guest today, Mike Howard from Oxford, AL. We caught some big crappie today. We were long line trolling in 8-9 foot of water with 1/32oz and 1/16oz jigs.

Guided Kathy and Bill Burrows from Jasper, Indiana. We had a great day on the water and caught about 80 fish. We had 49 keepers. Was a very rainy day and had to fish under umbrellas. We caught some by long line tolling with 1/16oz jigs in 12-14 foot of water and some by straight line minnows over man made cover in 9-17 foot of water.

Fishing Report: Fishing was tough on long line trolling. Caught 40 big fish from 1lb to 1 3/4lb fishing river channel with minnow deep.

Fishing Report: Caught 58 big fish. Long line trolling with 1/32 oz jigs and straight line brush in 17 foot of water with minnows.

Visibility: stained

Fishing Report:  Caught over 40 fish today.  I caught a big crappie weighing 2.8lbs.  All were caught on man made cover between 6-18 ft of water.

Water Temperature: 51 degrees

Visibility: stained

Fishing Report:  Saturday was a great day.  I was fishing the river channel with minnows in 12-14 ft of water and caught over 70 crappie.  Sunday was another good day.  I caught over 60 crappie in the back end of a creek using minnows in 6-8ft of water.

Water Temperature:  50 degree

Visibility:  Murky

Fishing Report:   I had three good days of fishing.  Saturday I caught and released 55 crappie in 5 hours.  I spent 4 hours Sunday and caught 45 crappie.  Monday I fished the river channel and caught 37.  The fish were holding on brush and were hitting straight minnows in 12 – 14 ft of water.  The bite was very light.

Water Temperature:  59.2 degrees

Visibility: Murky

Fishing Report:  Fish holding on river channels 12 – 14 ft deep over 22 foot of water holding on brush.   I was fishing with minnows with a 1 ounce weight and caught over 40 fish.  Many were 9 3/4 inches. I kept 19 good fish.

Water Temperature: 61 degrees

Visibility: stained

Fishing Report:  Fished river channels in 12 – 14 ft of water on brush.  I caught 19 in a 4 hour trip.  Uses jigs tipped with minnows and release all fish caught.
