Today I fished Logan Martin Lake. It was a great day. I caught 74 big fish long line trolling with jiffy jigs in 10 to 12 feet of water. I was just fishing by myself and didn’t keep any fish, but I took some pictures. The water was stained 47 degrees.

Today I was on Logan Martin Lake fishing. The water is cold and stained. It has gone down 5 feet since the rain flood gates are still running but I managed to catch 27 big crappie, 10 bass and 5 stripes longline trolling in 12 to 14 ft. They are not holding on cover. They are just suspended over open water.

Today I fished Weiss Lake with Rick Beasley and his daughter Danielle. We fished a half a day and caught over 150 fish with 65 good keeper fish. We were long line trolling with jiffy jigs in 7ft to 14ft of water. It was a fun day with Danielle catching a lot of fish all by her self just like a pro…Both caught large fish.

Today I was on Logan Martin Lake with Donald Shelnutt and his buddy Cary Moody. It was a tough day but we managed to catch 30 good fish. Donald caught a very big crappie and lost one because I couldn’t get to the net in time. The lake was cold and muddy.

Toady I was on Logan Martin Lake with Stephen Clark and his fishing buddy Todd Morgan. It was a real tough day. The water temp was 46 degrees and muddy but we had 38 big fish and two over 2lbs. We had a fun trip even though it was cold (32 degrees when we launched).

Today I was on Logan Martin Lake just checking for new places. I found several and caught a lot of fish. They are still biting with the water temp at 49.0 degrees. Released all the fish and took a couple pics of the quality of fish.

Today I was on Logan Martin Lake just fun fishing. Temp was 26 degrees, but the fish are still biting. They are good fish between 1 lb. and 1 1/2. They aren’t real big fish but a lot of solid fish. 2 turbines are running so it is hard to fish the river channels where the water temps is still around 50
