Fishing on the Coosa Lakes and Wedowee is real slow longline trolling some fish are being caught with a cork and jig in deep water and around docks the trolling should pick up soon the fish seem to be a month behind .

Fishing has been real slow but longline trolling is starting to pickup and soon it will be real good it has been a crazy year 2021 should be good.

Fishing is up and down with the lakes muddy due to the rain ,longline trolling is picking up with the water temp 53 degrees fish are suspended 15 feet depth over deep water.

Water temp has dropped into to low 70s and the fishing is starting to pick up but the fish are still on cover in 12 to 14 ft with minnows and they are starting to pile up on docks.

The crappie bite is getting better water temp is 80 degrees went yesterday checking the lake and caught 26 good fish in 5 hrs with minnows in 12 to 16 ft. on structure tight to cover.

Fishing is still real slow due to heat and water temp using minnows is a way to catch a few,the weather needs to cool down before it gets better.

Water temp on coosa is 87 degrees the crappie have moved to the river channels on structure the bite is slow but using minnows will catch some from daylight to around 11:00 before sun gets up.
