Weiss Lake – August 24, 2012

Today I was on Weiss Lake building crappie beds. The water temp is still a hot 87 degrees and the fish have moved to the creek channels. They are still in 12 to 14 foot of water on brush. Fish Slow with minnows and the fish are good keepers.

Today I fished Weiss Lake. The water temp was still 87 degrees. I shot a lot of docks and caught a bunch of small fish around little river area. The larger fish are still in 12 to14 ft of water in the mouth of bays.

Today I fished Weiss Lake. Just fun fishing and hunting for new places to fish. I found 15 places and caught about 60 fish with a lot of keepers. The water temp is still a hot 87 degrees. Was fishing with minnows in about 12-16ft of water.

Today I fished Weis Lake with Mark Collins. We had a great day fishing 12 to 14ft of water. We had over 100 fish with 30 keepers. We went through a pound of minnows. The water temp was 91 degrees with an outside temp of 95.

Neely Henry – August 3, 2012

Today I fished Neely Henry. The water temp was 93 degrees at 1pm when I started fishing. I fished the river channels, but the fish were small. I moved into the creek in 12ft of water on cover and caught bigger fish. It was a hot & tough day. Ended up with 22 keeper fish.

Logan Martin – July 16, 2012

Today I fished Logan Martin. The big fish finally are on the river channel. I had a great day and fished for 4 hours. Anyone fishing Logan Martin needs to go get there bait and supplies at Grampys Baitshop at Riverside Landing. They have big minnows at a great price and launch your boat for $3.

Neely Henry – July 13, 2012

Today I fished Neely Henry. The water temp was 85.6 degrees. I caught a lot of fish on the river channels, but they were just keepers. So I went to the mouth of creeks in 10ft of water and caught some real big fish on brush. I took a picture to show what to look for when fishing.

Today I was fishing Weiss Lake. I caught over 70 fish but only caught 15 over 11inches. I fished the river channels and the mouth of creeks. They were every when I went but the key to catching these fish in 90 degree water and air temps around 98 is to fish slow and under an umbrella to stay cool.

Today I was fishing on Neely Henry. It was very hot and windy. I caught a lot of fish but most were small. I was fishing on the river channel over brush in 16ft of water with minnows. They were not pulling water, so the big fish would not bite. The water temperature was 90 degrees.

Logan Martin – June 25, 2012

Today I was pre-fishing for a guide trip on Logan Martin. It was hot and the water temp was 89 degrees. The Fish were on the river channels deep in cover. I caught 96 fish by 11am in 16 to 18 foot of water and was fishing with minnows. The fish are biting good, so come on down and let so summer time fishing.
